Lisa Lund, MFT is a licensed marriage and family therapist who firmly believes that couples can learn the skills needed to improve their relationship. She utilizes structured, research-based approaches that are designed to get results. Lisa is a Master Certified Gottman Counselor and Workshop Leader directly trained by Drs. John and Julie Gottman. She is also trained in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) and Pre-Marital-Assessment (Prepare/Enrich). She is a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (California-LMFT #33393, North Carolina- LMFT #10193) with over 25 years of counseling experience.
Lisa's passion is helping couples repair their relationships. Ms. Lund has been a psycho-therapist for 25 years and has worked with many populations but finds couple’s work to be most rewarding. She likes the energy and the challenge of holding two differing points of view without judgment (and teaching couples to do the same).
Continue reading Lisa's full biography...Mike Fidler, MSW RSW, has spent close to 45 years helping other people, children, teens, parents, and grandparents, individuals, families, and couples to have a better life in his roles as a Social Worker, Child Abuse Specialist, Therapist and Teacher.
Mike is an advanced trainer with the Gottman Institute, Seattle, Washington. He has spent 20 years with a small group of 35 international trainers led by John and Julie Gottman studying how to use over fifty years of the best research on relationships, to inform couples, train therapists, and now inform teens, on how to make their relationships work. He is focused on training therapists, case and certification track consulting, developing curriculum for teens, and assisting couples through the Art and Science of Love Workshops.
Mike has certificates from the University of Toronto as a custody access mediator, Psychosocial Factors in Rehabilitation & Addiction Studies.
Continue reading Mike's full biography...Michael Brown is a licensed marriage and family therapist, one of only two Certified Gottman Therapists in Northeast Florida, and a Clinical Fellow of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. Michael became a Certified Gottman Therapist in 2014 and, since then, has become a Gottman Couples Workshop Leader and Clinical Trainer. He provides quarterly Art and Science of Love Weekend Workshops for Couples and clinical training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy for other therapists, counselors, and psychologists. He has provided clinical training in Phoenix, Arizona; Monterrey, Mexico (in Spanish); and Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Michael completed his undergraduate degree at the University of the Pacific and has a Master of Divinity in Theology from the Washington Theological Union and a Master of Science in Counseling in Marriage, Family, and Child Therapy from the University of Phoenix. He completed his practicum at Phoenix Interfaith Counseling, working with seriously mentally ill adults.
Continue reading Michael's full biography...Richard B. Boswell, LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker with over 45 years of experience working with couples, families and individuals. He was certified as a Gottman Method Couples Therapist in 2006 and as an Art and Science of Love Workshop Presenter in 2007. Richard has presented the Art and Science of Love Workshop in St. Louis several times a year since 2008. He was also certified as an Emotionally Focused Couples Therapist in 2009 and is a certified Discernment Counselor.
During his career, Richard has presented at conferences, workshops and seminars, taught at the graduate and post-graduate levels, and trained and supervised therapists. He has developed and directed inpatient, residential and outpatient treatment programs throughout the United States.
